Education and Congress Centre of Silesian University of Technology is located in university campus in the center of the city, near DTŚ road (diametral highway, road DK902). Gliwice is only 35 minutes drive from Katowice International Airport (KTW), around 1 hour from Kraków Airport (KRK) and 1.5 hour from Wrocław Airport (WRO). Gliwice has direct train connections to various European capitals including Berlin (~5h 30m), Prague (~6h), Vienna (~4h 30m), Bratislava (~5h 15m), Budapest (~8h 45m) and of course Warsaw (~3h) .

The venue is well prepared for organizing conferences and convetions, offering good conference rooms for talks and workshops with modern equipment. In addition the place offers reliable and fast connection to the Internet.

How to get by public transport?

If you prefer air travel then the best choice is flying to Katowice International Airport (KTW). If that's not possible then Kraków Airport (KRK), Wrocław Airport (WRO) and Warsaw Chopin International Airport (WAW) are good alternatives connected with reasonably fast train travel. From the KTW airport you can either take a direct airport bus lines (AP1 and M14 to Gliwice.

If you travel by train, then you should look for connections with Gliwice. There are direct connections to major Polish cities and some of the European capitals like Prague, Bratislava. Vienna and Budapest. If you cannot find one from your location, then try to reach Katowice first, from there you can find plenty of trains (slower local and faster long-distance going to Gliwice).

How to get by car?

You can reach Gliwice easily through higways A1 and A4 that intersect near the city.
