Welcome to the newly launched attendees registration for PyCon PL 2024 conference. At the moment, we offer two types of tickets:
- Full - 4-day participation (29.08-01.09) in the event with priority registration for workshops
- Light - 3-day participation (30.08-01.09) in the event
It's worth noting that both types of tickets also include an evening social event and participation in workshops, which in many conferences is an additional paid feature. We will soon also enable the purchase of tickets for online participation. This year's ticket prices start from 655 PLN (for privately participating individuals) and 805 PLN (for companies), with the final price depending on the payment date and selected options. Therefore, it's worth not delaying the registration, as the sales are conducted through ticket pools, which means that tickets at more attractive prices may quickly sell out. Registration will last until August 22nd (inclusive).
Through the registration system, you can also submit your proposals for the agenda as part of the ongoing Call for Proposals.

Starting today, we are accepting submissions of agenda proposals for the 16th edition of PyCon PL. Just like in previous years, we are looking forward to interesting topics for lectures, workshops, and other activities that will fill the conference program. Presentations at various levels of advancement are welcome - both for beginners and experienced individuals. The topics do not have to be strictly limited to the Python language, as we also accept subjects loosely related to programming. The deadline for submitting proposals is May 20th 8th. More information can be found on the Call for Proposals subpage.
We also take this opportunity to inform you that the registration of participants is planned to start on April 11th.

We are pleased to welcome you to the PyCon PL 2024 website. This is the 16th edition of the most important and largest stationary conference in Poland, fully dedicated to the Python programming language. For the third time we are returning to Gliwice and the Education and Congress Centre of Silesian University of Technology. The conference will happen between August 29th and September 1st. The event format remains the same like in the previous years - we will have multiple tracks consisting mainly of talks and workshops, but also including lightning talks, quiz and other activities. On Saturday, August 31st, we are planning a social event where, traditionally, you will have an opportunity to play board games, enjoy some food and drink, and most importantly, participate in interesting discussions about Python, but not limited to it..
This year we seriously considered returning to the hotel formula that was in place before 2020. For those who did not have the opportunity to attend PyCon PL before the pandemic, we explain that it was a conference format in a hotel outside of a major city, where almost all participants stayed overnight at the venue. This favored integration in the hotel's common areas almost around the clock. We would very much like to return to this type of format, and therefore, we considered several hotel facilities for the current edition. Unfortunately, such a return at this moment would be difficult or even impossible to implement. After the pandemic, the majority of participant registrations take place in the last weeks before the event, which effectively makes it impossible to plan an event in this type of format and also involves significant risk, especially considering the global slowdown in the IT industry. However, we are eager to return to the hotel format with the arrival of better times and stronger support from conference sponsors.
In the coming days we will start Call for Proposals and attendees registration. It's worth checking back here in a few days, or you can follow us on social media.
