PyCon PL 2014 is the seventh edition of Polish PyCon conference. Like in the previous year event will take place in Congress and Recreation Center „Orle Gniazdo” („Eagle's nest”) situated in the Beskidy mountains, southern Poland (very close to the border with Slovakia and Czech Republic).
This year we are using the website, which you may already know from the previous edition. Earlier logins are active, so, if you registered last year, you don't need to create the new one.
We've got this year full list of attendees. That is just incredible! See you in Szczyrk!
Amongst other things, David (@codeinthehole) is the author of django-oscar, a popular e-commerce framework for Django. He is technical director at Tangent Snowball, a London-based marketing agency, and spends Monday to Friday using Python to solve e-commerce problems.
His interests include software architecture, especially domain-driven design and the role of TDD in the design process. David is a command-line addict, wrote commandlinefu.com to harvest other people's great one-liners, and is planning on having a funeral consisting entirely of his ~/.vimrc being read out.
Register on PyCon PL to attend on David’s presentation.
Hynek Schlawack have joined PyCon speakers. He will raise security issues like Heartbleed attacks and TLS.
Hynek Schlawack is an infrastructure and software engineer from Berlin/Germany, PSF fellow, and contributor to a wide variety of open source projects including high-profile ones such as Twisted and CPython.
Currently he works at the Potsdam-based Variomedia AG redoing its infrastructure with Python-based solutions, mostly using Twisted and Pyramid.
His main areas of interest are security, networks, and robust software.
